Written correspondence may still be received in response to matters that have been the subject of a Public Meeting. In accordance with the Procedural By-law, this Notice of Motion requires a mover and a seconder to be considered by Council.Recommended (Move, Second)Whereas at the May 26, 2025 Committee of the Whole Meeting, Council received staff report CS.25.016 “Proposed Updated Property Standards By-law and Proposed Updated Administrative Monetary Penalties (“AMPs”) By-law 2021- 71”, and at the June 2, 2025 Council Meeting, Council directed staff to schedule a Public Meeting to receive comments on a Proposed Updated Property Standards Bylaw; And Whereas, at the June 24, 2025 Public Meeting, Council received comments from the public regarding the proposed Property Standards Bylaw that would repeal and replace the current Property Standards Bylaw 2002-18; Now therefore, following consideration of the public comments received at the June 24, 2025 Public Meeting, Council directs staff to discontinue the review and update of the current Property Standards Bylaw 2002-18, and to continue to enforce the current Property Standards By-law 2002-18.
