We would like to begin our meeting by recognizing the First Nations, Metis and Inuit peoples of Canada as traditional stewards of the land.  The municipality is located within the boundary of Treaty 18 region of 1818 which is the traditional land of the Anishnaabek, Haudenosaunee and Wendat-Wyandot-Wyandotte peoples.

    AND THAT Council approve the Single Sourcing of WT Infrastructure for the engineering design and contract administration for the servicing of the 125 Peel Street property for the Community Campus of Care Project.

    AND THAT Council amend By-law 2021-38 to remove Raymond White as a Municipal Weed Inspector, and to appoint Brenda Doyle as a Municipal Weed Inspector for the purposes of enforcing the Weed Control Act within Council’s jurisdiction.

    AND THAT Council enact a By-law so as to rezone a portion of the Bay Street West Road Allowance from the Residential ‘R1-1’ Zone to the Open Space ‘OS’ Zone.

    THAT Council receive Staff Report PDS.22.130, entitled Regional Stormwater Management Plan Drainage Act Assessment – Follow up to Provisional By-Law 2022-74;

    AND THAT Council enact a By-law to provide for the maintenance and extension of the Blue Mountain Outlet Diversion Drain and Ford Outlet Drain in the Town of the Blue Mountains as recommended in this report.

    AND THAT Council support a recommendation to the County of Grey to grant Draft Plan Approval of Subdivision 42T-2018-14 subject to the Draft Plan Conditions attached to Planning Staff Report PDS.22.115;

    AND THAT Council enact a Zoning By-law Amendment to rezone the subject lands from the Development ‘D’ zone to the Residential ‘R1-3-X-h6’ Zone and Open Space ‘OS’ Zone and to amend Table 9.1 of Zoning By-law 2018-65 to add a new Exception XXX to permit a maximum building height of 9.5m (2.5 storeys).
